You’re not required to have an attorney help you with women-owned certification. In fact, when we are approached by a potential client for this type of representation, we point that out first.

But it’s another one of those things you want to do and wish you could take time for. We’ve worked with a number of women-owned businesses to help organize the required documentation, carefully craft the story of the business, and work with the business to make clear to the certifying body the true control structure of the woman-owned business.
